Bwahahahahahaha!!!

...and, I suppose, since my name's Klaus, (which derives from Nickolaus, i.e., Saint Nick...), that these are for hanging on the mantle for me to fill with old REPU parts come Yuletide...? :)

Give me a damn break!

Craig, after crusing some of the members' websites for the first time, I discovered Bruce is apparently even bashing you on his Yahoo group as well:

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/mazdarepurotaryenginepickup/message/327

I was thinking about just using it to my advantage and offering an empty box at $5, 50% under apparent market value ;), or maybe sell off one of my trucks for about $10k (2 fenders at $750 each, a hood at $500, a cab is easily worth $2500, doors complete at $1500 each.....).

When I saw the post about you there, it really pissed me off. I'll bet few of the folks there know you at all, you're not there to defend yourself (nor are any of us that I'm aware of), and I think it is just plain petty all over a F*CKING cardboard BOX!!!

Last thing to say on the matter- apparently some people need to GROW UP!

There's lots of places on the 'net...

...I don't frequent; more an issue of time than any other... When was that 'stuff' posted? I'm only asking 'cause I'm still hoping that this 'rift' can be healed, rather than an increase in the number of 'us vs. them' attitudes out there...
Call me crazy, but on a good day, I think some folks are just confused...
...(on a bad day, I think they're A-holes)...
But at the end of the week, I just wish we could all be righteously kind people who can find a way to get along!
I've traded a couple'a emails with Bruce, and he strikes me as someone who's just very cynical at the moment, due to his life experiences. I know I can relate... and I know that I've been less than kind at times in my past, mostly when I was caught up in my own crap.
Takes some time sometimes to get a grip, and gain perspective...

...You are I, and I am you...

I'm with you Klaus...

Oh, hey don't get me wrong... I have no problems with Bruce as an individual (honest), in fact I like him, despite what you may think. I've bought a vent control faceplate from him, and spoken to him on the phone. What I don't like is exactly what you are getting at- why it has to be such a big deal and why we can't all just get along. All I know is this- I've been dragged through the mud uncerimoniously before for no reason at all (unrelated to cars) and no one came to my defense... If you are going to drag someone through the mud (at multiple venues/forums)- especially citing completely unrelated incidents (Australian auction) as your defense, basically call someone a liar and cheat, then indirectly accuse them of attacking your computer, well, you had better have more than a leg to stand on and be ready for the backlash. I was done with what I had to say on the other thread until I discovered negativity on another forum. For what it's worth, I'd stick up for Bruce as well if someone did this to him.

But in the name of fairness, and to put an end to it, I'll shut my mouth about it from here on out. Apologize for putting more salt on the wound, all. What is done is done, I suppose. Good point Klaus. Sorry. I apparently overreacted. When someone knocks a friend down, I step in. Just my nature.

I'm not accusing anyone...

...nor looking to make any excuses. And, I certainly hear ya on supporting one's friends... (You may recall past incidents involving my own disappointments and frustrations...)! 'Nuff said?
I dunno... too many rotary brethren left by the side of the road already, lost to sickness or insanity, actual or metaphorical...
We're a crazy bunch sometimes as it is... hoping more of us can help one another along the way.
Besides, poor business practices tend to be unsustainable, in the long run...
I know I've sure had to learn everything the hard way!
Now, about those alternatives to the alternative... :)
