'74 repu in washington

ok guys, i need to liquidate some rigs here and my mazda is one of them. i just don't have time for it right now and i just have too many projects and not enough time or money for all.

its a '74 rotory pickup of course. i'd like to get $400 cash. it has typical rust in door sills and the apex seals are gone. it does come with a good engine though. and extra oil cooler. all body panels are strate. all glass is good. i put all new plugs and 8mm wires on it. i replaced the clutch master cylinder about a yr ago, have a new brake rotor still in package, new brakes on the front, new brake hoses in boxes, the dash is uncut( meaning nobody has put a cd player in it), very complete except center wheel caps. i have one center wheel cap and all 4 stock wheels with trim rings. the only rust it has is in the cab. i am very firm on the price. i will get pictures when i can. i don't know how to post them on here but if you email me at taajunk@hotmail.com i can send some.

can also be reached at (360) 894-5411.

Check out the ver last folder on the galleries page. There's step-by-step instructions on uploading pics to the gallery. Just be sure to let them know what you name the folder, as there's quite a growing number of galleries and its getting tough to spot new ones.

Failing that, if you email the pics to me, I'll throw them up on my site and you can give ppl a link to that page until you sell it.

I'd jump on it myself, but shipping would run me three times what the truck is going for, and I need every penny for my '77 project.

What are those? How much would they cost to replace? How much money would it take to get the repu on the road?

Haha, just wanna know what I'm getting myself into.

Several Hundred to several thousand dollars...

depending on who does the work and how much damage there is to the housings or rotors. IF you contract out, the price does go substantially up, If you do the work yourself, and are lucky in regards to damage, as little as several hundred if you have access to tools and parts.

It looks like a good platform to start with, but they are never a cakewalk, If it was more than a run of the mill toasted truck, I'd have a go of it myself, but I already have a line of these in the wings. I'll give it a home if nobody else adopts it.

Christ. That's a ton of money. Maybe I should leave this to a pro, cos it'd probably end up just being a lawn ornament. :(

Heh. That's a sensible approach. If you can't afford to undertake the project better to figure that out now.

OTOH, two grand for a new motor isn't that much. ANyone here ever try to find a new or rebuilt Toyota or Nissan V6? They aren't any cheaper. Hell a crate Cechy 350 is running almost two grand these days.

I budgetted $2,500 to rebuild/streetport my 13b and my father freaked out, like it should be free or something. Its hard to get him with the programme :) He doesn't quite understand that it doesn't have cams and stuff :)

parting out

well i couldn't get any one to buy the whole thing, although rxjordan talked me out of the tailgate, front fenders, grill and headlight bezels and ignition switch. so i guess i'll be parting it out. still have a ton of good parts left.
