Blue '74 on ebaymotors in Ft. Worth, TX. ...

Just a li'l bump for y'all...
Looks like it's missing the motor, front bumper, valance, and one taillight... interior is kinda trashy; dash pad cracked... 'surface' exterior rust looks repairable... overall pretty darn straight.
Someone needs to rescue this one!

I'm watching

I'm watching that one. If I can talk the wife into it. I've got relatives in Dallas and nearby Louisiana. I can justify a trip there. Keep your fingers crossed that I can talk the wife into it and the price does not get too steep for what it is.

Be very careful..........

Once you acquire four or more......you can be considered a Repu_aholic.

Society may not like you anymore, it is often found you become distant from loved ones, irritable if you away from your trucks for too long, determinate in the belief that you don't have enough trucks or parts and convinced you need more. You think that even rusty bent parts with holes can be saved. It is a vicious circle that without treatment only becomes worse. Counseling and treatment for the disease usually comes too late for the victim to be saved, mainly because the symptoms are not widely recognized in the mainstream and too few professional counselors understand the nature of the disease.

Your count shows three trucks, your on the threshold of going deep, you must take a deep breath and ask yourself……Am I a man?

If so, BUY THE DAMN THING, and tell everyone to "Pack Sand".

Ken, I'd ask you to be my 'sponsor', but...

...I see from your signature (and email attachments) you're still a 'practicing' REPU_aholic, so I guess that won't be happening... more likely that we'll end up bingeing on old rotaries together, eh?
Perhaps a more apt metaphor for our 'hobby' is a version of OCD ? That's 'obsessive/compulsive disorder'...
Best of luck on the 'next' one, Charles! Say, wasn't knight76 still parting out a truck in Texas, and didn't it have a few parts that blue one needs? ...

Parts

Not sure about Knight76 parting one. But I have a cab that is just a rust bucket that is very willing to give up the parts to restore the one on Ebay to completness. I think the wife is buying in. She asked how the auction was going this morning over breakfast. If I was to aquire another one It would mean that one has to leave, So I would still be at the 3x limit. All that is left on the cab is really just interior parts and a good set of doors and fenders. Don't even have a clear title to the VIN. So its just a parts cab. Wish me luck and I'll keep you informed.

Best of luck, Charles!

Check some older thread(s) about knight's REPU... at least, it 'was' being parted, or so I recall...(?)
Don't think we need to encourage you too much to strip EVERY last little thing from your donor cab... :)

Sorry for anyone that was interested in the truck, because I was the one who won the bid. I was looking for one for over a year now and I even posted that i was looking for one but there was no reply.

Well, congrat's on your score,

and perhaps we'll 'see you' around these boards more often now? It would appear to often be the case that geographic location/shipping costs determine what is or isn't available at a given time... Had I known of anything in your vicinity at the time of your previous post, I would've said something!
