Update on Shill Bidder Khashabi
Hey All-
Just thought you might like this one (hehehehe). That asshole Khashabi reposted the valance on ebay and already had some unfortunate bidder. So I dropped the guy this message:
This auction was already pulled from ebay once because the seller was shill bidding up his own auction. He has also been known to screw over people in the rotary community even selling cars he has no title for.
Then, last night, I get this from Khashabi himself!
Check this out:
I was just emailed by the highest of from one of my auctions questioning me
about some bullshit you emailed him.Where the fuck you get off stickin you
nose in other peoples business.You don't know what happened and even if you
did how the hell you gona prove it?That fuckin looser that came over my
house to buy the truck,went home with a title!He is lying to
everybody.What?Was the truck stolen?NO,I DON'T THINK SO.The title he
received from me was out dated and I didn't realize it till he got here.I
bought the truck from a respected mechanic that put a fuel injection in the
truck and after he got it refereed,he was issued a new sticker for the truck
with a new vin that matched the motor.When I bought it he gave me the old
pink buy mistake and just signed it.I never went to DMV and registered it
into my name.I ended up selling it about 2 months to that loser (Clause).He
came down to my HOME.When he realized it wasn't in my name he freaked out
and didn't trust me and when the vin didn't match he got more skeptical.I
didn't even know about the vin till he mentioned it.That's my fault for not
checking it.Do you think I would risk selling a 2000 dollar truck that
wasn't mine?COME ON!At that point,I told him I'm responsible so just give me
a little time to get the paper work figured out so I spent all that day
running around and the next day too.I went back and forth to the old owner
and the DMV trying to get it straightened out.The reason I had to wait an
extra 1/2 day is because I had to wait for the old owner to get off work so
he can go home and find the new title.So in the mean time I went to DMV and
got what ever paperwork necessary to get it registered.That guy slept in
front of my home with his gay friend for a 1 1/2 days drinking beers in
there van like white trash.The whole time he wanted to go with me to talk to
the old owner and I had to keep telling him no.He didn't like that.He
thought I was hiding something.I just didn't want to bring this guy and his
gay friend to where this guy works.they both looked like a hippy and smelled
horrible because they didn't shower for a few days.This guy would have
chewed me out for that.So in the mean time between me running back and forth
to the DMV and the old owner he went on his own with his friend and talked
to the owner behind my back to find out details about the truck.When I got
home with all the necessary paper work he was quick to load the truck up and
look at the paper work briefly and leave.That was kind of funny to me.That's
because he was assured by the old owner it was a simple mistake made by him
with the old paperwork.
I really don't care if people buy my rotary shit or not.I got brand new
factory body parts for rotary trucks that NOBODY else has,that every body
wants.You can put this email in your mazda rotary websites or forums or what
ever.I don't care!Hopefully That white trash reads this!Next time I place an
ad on ebay I will take the appropriate action so your not able to email my
bidders.If I was you I would get the information from the horses mouth
instead of his ass.
By the way, the subject of his email was HEY DICKHEAD!

Hey John,
If I got the story on the title wrong, I do apologize. I have known Klaus
for a long time, and he has never lied nor exaggerated anything, but I
suppose there is always a first for everything. I emailed the bidder
primarily to warn him about your shill bidding. You did do it, you were
caught, and the auction was pulled. I felt I had every right to warn the guy
since I was one of the original bidders on the first auction that got
squeezed out by the practice. People in the rotary community want to buy
your stuff, because you're right, it's hard to come by and we all need it
and want it. But when stuff like this auction getting pulled from supposedly
shady practices, it makes everyone really skiddish that you are trying to
screw people out of their money. As I'm sure you're aware, the rotary guys
try to help each other out, not take advantage of one another. That's why
people are scared right now, and if the stories are indeed true (I realize
they might not be), I just did not want another person getting caught up in
it.
Oh, and just a word of advice, if you want people to take you seriously, and
treat you with respect, opening with HEY DICKHEAD is not exactly the way to
get on someone's good side.

Yes, but...
How is ebay going to investigate again? Nobody here can prove whether or not he is indeed shill bidding again because we can't see who the bidders are. Personally, I think ebay should shut someone down for good that pulls what he has. By the way- did anyone notice how John did not mention the shill bidding at all in his email to me? He only wanted to rant about the truck he sold to Klaus. Admission of guilt by keeping silent?

yes you are correct about not being able to see the shill bidding now because of the private auction. i mentioned that in my report to ebay.
if you look at the auction there a 2 bids. coincidence?? hmmmm.
but the main reason i reported was for opening an new account. per ebay's rules:

Hmmm, very interesting. I am the "gay friend" Khashabi speaks of. Now I AM pissed. I will say that even though Khashabi is TWICE my size, he sure turned into a pussy when I got in his face and told him "dude, EVERYTHING that comes out of your mouth is setting off alarm bells in my head". I suppose his calling me "gay" is his way of compensating for HIS lack of balls in the aforementioned incident. Either that, or he was SCARED of my being the President of a gun club here in Oregon. And I didn't start to smell bad until we had been there TWO friggin' days waiting for the jerkwad to get the title straightened out, which of course he never did. Yes, we crashed out in the van like DIEHARD ROTORHEADS trying to score a decent REPU, not "white trash" as he asserts. Man, I wish I hadn't read his e-mail to Neil because now I guess I'll have to utterly DESTROY him, and my role model in that regard is the Count of Monte Christo.

Other Problem People...
Just for anyone who hasn't dealt with them yet, or heard of them for that matter, here are two other assholes that have ripped several rotorheads off in the past (moi included). John seems to be on The Parts Trader and ebay, while Shaun sticks to The Parts Trader responding to want ads. Shaun recently screwed me out of $300 for FD parts and won't get back to me- even after I filed a complaint with the RCMP. By the way- both these idiots are Canadian. John lives outside Toronto, and Shaun is in Nova Scotia.

How about a new section of the forum . . .
We could have a section where we exchange positive and negative experiences in our search for trucks and parts. That way when I am thinking about buying from somewhere I could just do a quick search of that part of hte forum to see what experiences ppl may have had with the person I am considering buying from.
It would be easy, and give us a single place to warn/recommend.
Just a thought.

That sounds like a good idea, but what about slander. We don't want to get ourselves into any kind of lawsuit. We have all had bad experiences, (parts trader) and would probably talk openly about it, just not in an open forum. I will gladly tell anyone the name of the guy that screwed me out of 600 bucks, just email me. Just my 2 cents worth..

The TRUTH is not slander. You can't be sued for stating facts. Not successfully, anyway. On the subject of our slimy little friend Khashabi, I have decided that he is not worth my "special treatment". Besides, the WORLD has a way of punishing jerks like him, nice and slow. Guess I've mellowed since I've gotten older... ;^)

Actions still speak louder than words.
Just paying attention and keeping everyone well informed should be enough...nature will undoubtedly take it's course. Of course, there's always the "X-factor", when someone gets righteously pissed, to speed matters.

Khashabi's auction got pulled because I reported him last night. The more I thought about it (and read his letter to me again), the more I wanted the slick bastard gone for good. I'll bet he's just snarling right now. Besides, who told him he could sell Klaus' valance anyways? A little joke I used to tell one of my (few) Mustang buddies..... Never mess with a 7.

Don't let words of another bother you. Actions, yes. But words no. I mean look at the adjectives he has used to try and defend himself with. Come on we all know that people who say things like that are mentally incapable of defending their own actions and so they go to the same list of bad words that any 10 year old child would use to convey their anger.

You have a point, but you need to remember, it's not just words. I was the high bidder on the valance until he used his other IDs to bid it up. So I am upset he did that to me, his actions towards Klaus and Mike, and then the words. If you haven't had to personally deal with this guy at all, then it is a bit easier to be complacent about it. I see where you are coming from; but sorry, if someone tries to con me (and a friend no less), well, then, I am going to take what steps I can to get even with them, within reason. I didn't waste my time over just his letter.

But honestly, the valance was never "mine". Just wish it was! Also, He MAY actually beleive most--if not everything--he says, sad as this may sound...it is after all possible that someone is so inept in their dealings that they neglect to get, or retain, anything in writing--or take it on good faith that all numbers, etc., are matching... As you can see, it's difficult at best to separate truth from scams...but, as they also say, "Attitude is everything".
If it quacks like a duck...
And I was hoping Ebay was letting it go so as to give him more rope to hang himself with...
