REPU still for Sale, now in LeClaire, IA.
Hey Folks,
Had a couple of people interested in the REPU that I posted here earlier but unfortunately no one ready to make a solid offer, so it is still for sale.
To help speed things along, and hpoefully find a buyer, I'll answer a few of the common questions that I am getting here.
Title: Clean and in my name.
Engine: Street port 13B. Complete tear apart and rebuilt. Has been driven on less than 500 miles. New gaskets, new seals.
Motor Mounts: In good condition.
Transmission: Turbo II transmission. In good condition.
Coils: New.
Spark Plugs: New when we rebuilt the engine.
Carb: Double Pumper Holley 750. Has had nothing done to it since I bought it used. I got it in the mail. Made sure it worked, bolted it on, adjusted the idle a little, that's it.
Rust: Surface rust on small portions of the bed. Nothing is rusted through at all.
Interior needs some love. (This really wasn't my focus.)
Windows and Glass: There are no cracks, chips, or broken glass but drivers side window rolling mechanism is broken.
Drives, and runs well in town, most likely needs a smaller carb to get it right into the sweet spot.
PLEASE NOTE::: This was a project for me and I have taken it as far as I can go. I am looking to sell this so that someone with more expertise, and frankly more time, can do it more justice. That being said, please do not ask me if it will make a long road trip back home. I have never driven it for any kind of long distance road trip and cannot make any guarantee's that your ride back will not come with any issues. I don't know how you drive. If you want to drive it back cross-country that is your perogative.
This truck is being sold as is, so please keep that in mind if you are interested.
Current price that I am asking for is $4000.
