I have learned a lot and had a blast working on this truck over the last few years. It runs and drives great. Engine is strong, brakes are solid. I have done everything I can based on my skill set to restore it. This forum was a valuable resource I used frequently on this project.
This truck has spent all of its idle time in my garage and out of the elements. I can confidently say it is rust free. The surface rust was addressed by the individual that performed the custom paint job. The body shop custom stenciled the stripes on the side/rear to mirror the original decals. The paint is two tone black cherry and charcoal with a clear coat finish.
Sadly, it is time for me to pass it on to a new home as there are other home restoration projects needing done.

Are you including the factory carb, air cleaner, exhaust, or did you junk all of that stuff? It would be a shame to have discarded all that stuff.
