1974 mazda repu $1000 in Chicago

1974 Mazda Rotary Pick -upUnfortunatly I must sell my 1974 Mazda pick-up. I purchased it a few months ago as a winter project. Although it is a little difficult to start once it does it runs great. Might just need a bit of fine tunning. The body is great for the year! It has a new battery, spark plugs, air filter, oil filter and engine oil. It is primered in black. It has a CD player and updated seats. I also have a fifth wheel and all the center caps. This would be a great gift for that racing fanatic in your family. Asking price is $1000 fell free to call (773)657-1769

74 REPU

Guys I just bought this one.....picked it up on Monday so now I am open for suggestions and advice. I waited a long time to get this one as I almost bought one brand new in 1974 (got the RX3 instead).

It's a fact...

...that REPU's were delivered exclusively to the North American market via west-coast ports; coupled with the winter road salting/rust typical back east, this probably explains why they survive mostly out west...

Where are you located, Tim... and what's your budget?

There's a bunch of REPU guys down in your general vicinity... I'm sure you'll eventually find one, just a matter of time, (and how far you might need to go to retrieve).

Come to think of it...I did find 1 decent Repu on Craigslist but were few hours late. Someone beat me to it and after few minutes of talking to the seller, found out he only sold it for $600.00 and all it needed was a new engine. Truck was complete and had a new paint job aswell!

Anyway, thanks for your kind encouragement. I will not give up...
