F.S. Mazda B1600

im thinking of selling my 73' b1600. im doing a 2.3 swap currently. i have a rack, tool box, front disc swap, 2 five speeds, a 2.3l short block (used), 2.3l head (fresh rebuild),new ACT 6 puck solid center clutch, the old 1.8 that was in it when i bought it, anyway lots of extra parts... truck is really straight but does need a grill and floor pan repair. i really dig this truck but my buddy just decided to sell this other car that i really really want and i want to see if i can come up with the cash to buy it before he starts advertising it. i wont sell it for less than 500 simply for the fact that this is the only b1600 i have ever seen and its in really good shape for its age. im not under any real pressure to sell it so if you dont want to give me 500 for it then dont waste my time. if you are interested then email me and i can send you pics. B-1600

Hey Klaus! I even looked in the back yard and counted heads, before I answered! I wondered why I hadn't ever seen it before, till I found he really lives in Stockton.

The 72 B-1600 would easily run away from the Courier while giving up 200 cc to the bigger engine. Grill parts should be fairly easy to fabricate also. Cab parts are tough though.

Those things are rare indeed (B1600). The Courier folks want them for parts, and the Mazda folks want to turn them into something else. No one really wants to restore them right now.

Well...

...given the cost of fuel these days in general, and the utility of a mini truck... it darn well oughta be appreciated for what it is, and can be, once restored... IMHO.

Get it, Crit, and restore it!
