Sorry Brad....

...been out of town the past four days for work. As for the '84 B series seals I bought years ago, the part numbers on the packaging is as follows:

Right Door Seal: 3874-58-901A

Left Door Seal: 3874-59-901A

I find it surprising that these are supposedly NLA altogether, and yet there are some of the older ones still sitting around... must have had a bunch of leaky (or poor materials) later B-series trucks...

those are the part numbers i used

left side is nla per directly from mazda

the parts guy at LongBeach Mazda said both are not made anymore. guess he was exaggerating or didn't care.

anyone know of a good substitute? or do i have to get the generic strip of weatherstripping and cut to fit now?

Just an FYI, I just ordered two of the channels (0588-58-241A)
from my local mazda dealer, so they're still around.

Another update.

Just got off the phone with Mazda. The window weatherstrips
(Felts, whatever..they press against the glass, inner and outer on the doors) are still avaliable at around $9.00 each.

Outer-0603-58-290A

I just bought this universal weatherstrip for the doors.

I can say the fit is good, it's flexable enough to go around the corners, and the doors still close (not too thick). The price is right too!! One thing, make sure to ask to get 30' continuous because 10' is not enough to make it around the door. Need more like 12' per door.
