Buckets that fit???

Let alone recline? Whatcha doin' to yer cab, lengthening it? There's damn few buckets that will allow anyone 6' tall to steer comfortably in a '74-'76 repu. Reclining is unheard of. What tricks you got up your sleeve?

seatbelts and bucket seats

I changed the seat belts in my 1973 courier with 1980 courier retractables lap and shoulder belts. It was easy to mount, cheap and works great. Toyota corolla buckets abt 1988 dropped right in. Did not even have to bolt them down.

looks real nice....If you are going for purely cosmetic.

from a performance stand point, I wouldn't do that because of the added weight.

I guess you could use that "fake" diamond plate made out of plastic. but that brings up the whole issue of using "fake" stuff

Don't they make a light guage

aluminum diamond plate? Of course, to really save weight, it's time to strip out the entire interior, and start drilling lightening holes...

Aluminum Diamond Plate

I used Aluminum Diamond Plate.I couldn't find door panels. The Aluminum came from a salvage yard. I buy it by the lb..
It may be twice the wieght,But I never thought about that.
I just like the way it looks.

seats

my truck has seats out of a honda civic the do recline but not all the way you have to move them forward and i took out those crappy two piece seat belts and put in the
retractable ones out of a ford later i plan to put in racing buckets that also recline that i found in the summit book for $300 and some 4 point harnesses

i will need that extra safty after I get done with the engine mods... retired police car is all i have to say about that!!!!!

If you want a good choice for seat belts look no further than a regular rx-7 (80-83)in the junk yard and install them by drilling one hole in the lower panel and placing a strong bolt and you have seat belt thats what I did to my 74 with out two much of a problem .
