autometer temp guage

wondering if the water temp sending unit for the stock guage will work for the auto meter electronic guage ,instead of using the auto meter npt unit?

I wouldn't absolutely guarantee that it won't work, but I would be very suprised if it did. Even the senders from newer rotaries don't work right with the REPU temp gauge
