brackets under the glove box

Hey guys,
I was brainstorming around the truck this weekend and was thinking of mounting one of those power inverters in the repu. I see 2 brackets roughly about 12" apart under the dash, glove box side. Any idea what that was originally for? A/C? Accessory bin?

under glove box

cardboard accessory bin goes there, ... removed when AC is installed.

THANKS!

Does anyone have a picture of what the accessory bin looks like?

Anytime. I assume those bins are not exactly rare, and I almost took mine out to give a bit more leg room.
I'd chuck it in a minute for AC!

I'm thinking of building some sort of accessory tray but probably not as tall as the factory one you showed me. I think I just need it big enough to mount an inverter or maybe even build a small box for a speaker. I don't know yet. A/C would be awesome, but I think the chances of find something like that are pretty slim, if not out of budget.
