Horrible! BONDO everywhere
well, i dont know if any of you remember the history between me and my repu. It has been in the family a long time.. almost 20 years it seems.. only left the family twice since then.. but has always managed to come back.. since we bought it it never had a rotary, but i fixed that problem a while back, although it has not ran since i rebuilt the engine.. but its in there.. lol.. the first time it was sold, the truck was taken to chicago and there it was involved in a wreck. we bought it back afterwards and my dad had it painted..
well., long story short.. i knew his buddy, whom painted the truck, and was sure he'd do a crap job.. now i have been removing the paint in my garage.. and wow.. he did a horrible job.. the fenders i might be able to salvage.. but the bed seems like a lost cause. at least the one side i have gotten down to bare metal.. (the pass side) seems like the ol hammer and dolly and even the stud gun might not get this one straight with out a thick layer of the old filler.. for meanwhile though i wont be puttin effort into that.. i have many other plans and ideas to get accomplished before i worry about the bed.. gettin the truck moving would be one.. lets see if i have the luck this year to get it turned on at least.

well I moved the truck so I could sand the other side.. the front fender will need some massaging, but nothing big. The bed on the driver's side is decent, only has a couple of dings and dent, so it is salvageable. As is the door, though I will have to weld up various holes that were drilled for different mirrors over the years.
As is stands now I really just need to replace the passenger's side door, and bedside.
at least now i know how bad it is.. and i can get back cleaning out the rust inside the cab.
