center cap rubber bands
So a few weeks back I scored a set of center caps on ebay, a little rough but I was down 1 and had another that was cracked. My problem is that I am missing the rubber band that holds my last center cap on, anybody have alternative methods for attaching the center caps?
thanks

Fortunately i have a set of old and worn center cap rubbers. If they won't work i'll probably try o-rings from one of those universal sets. I was thinking 2 o-rings per cap. Let us know what you end up using.

I wonder if an old bike innertube can be cut and streched to fit?

I will check out my o-ring set, but I Think they are probably too thick. The bike inner tube sounds like a good idea as well! Thanks for the ideas guys, will let you know what works for me.

Tom,
Try ordering the part number from your local dealer from time to time. I know it often times comes back NLA, but I keep putting them on order, and twice in the past year I have scored some. I got a full set of four around this time last year, then ran the number again around x-mas and it came back NLA, none in any PDCs, and none on any dealer shelves. I told the dealer to order four anyways, and about three weeks later, one showed up.
Neal.
