Hood stay
Has anyone come up with a really good fix for the hood bending where the hood lock bolts up?

Courier
Its a spring that replaces all that and doesn't stress the hood. 73-76 Ford Courier, find one in a junk yard and get it, it'll require a couple of brackets but its not that hard. Took me about 30 minutes to put one on mine. Good luck, Charles

Yeah the hood on my repu had to be welded a tad there cuz it got a stress crack .. i had though of a few ways to fix this.. using the courier hinges with the tension rod looking system was one of em.. stil havent got around to it since there is sooo much more to do..
its a good idea to check your hoods in that area though.. to avoid problems later..
