LED Tail Lights

Yes, while I'm waiting on the engine, I'm starting to think about, and do, some appearance mods.

First will be to get all my tail lights working, and not cracked. I've been thinking about getting LED Tail Lights to replace the crurrent set. I have 2 actual ggood lights, and the other two are cracked.

If these work out, I'll be selling off my used ones.

$$$$$

$57 dollars times 4...ouch.

Still, its a better value than the $150 for a pair of front turn signal lenses i was quoted! I'll be making custom lenses i guess. If you do sell your old tail lights, I'd be interested in 1 or 2 trim rings. Mine aren't bad. driver inner has a visible dent on top, driver outer has a minor dent on bottom only visible on close inspection.

Crazy! Insane! Ridiculous...$75/lens, indeed!!!

Aren't our front turn lenses identical to rx4 or courier? I forget which, but I'm pretty sure one or the other... Somebody's got a sick sense of humor, quoting $150/pair on those!

Dang, this is making me wish I had stripped down the REPU I found at a wrecking yard last summer.

LED Lights, followup.

Guess I should follow this thread up, now that it has been brought back to life...

I had to drill 3 holes per light to make them fit.

The place i bought them from doesn't have a website, it's a local place that sells big-rig truck parts.

The place listed above is OK in terms of prices, but I paid less than $50 per light.
