Hood

Is a Ford Courier hood the same hood as a REPU hood. I'm looking for a fiberglass replacement. Mine on my newly aquired REPU (thanks Jeff) is rusted pretty badly. I found one online but wanted to know the groups consensus if the Courier was the same.

Identical--except...

Same year's Courier is the same--except for the trim strip (unavailable, supposedly, from Mazda...) on the leading edge isn't there, and instead you'll have the holes to fill where the "ford" letters are/were...

I wonder if you could get little letters made up which match the font used to make the word 'FORD' and replace it with the word 'REPU'. Wouldn't that be something?

REPU on hood

I wonder if there are brass letters or some type of letter that would allow that. I like that idea Jeff.

Charles how did the Explorer pull over Monteagle? Were you stuck over in the right lane with the big rigs?

Trip Home

GURU, the trip home was fine, actually passed the big rigs on the way over the mountain. I pulled it 70mph all the way and down to 55mph over the MT. Got home about 5:30pm but it took a full tank of gas to get me there. It was cold in TN when I got home so I haven't had a chance to do anything to it. This weekend is not looking to promising either. I'll probably start working on it Monday evening when I get home from work.
