I was hoping one of you fellow rotorheads would be kind enough to grab your protractor and give me the angle of the front half of the drive shaft?

..likely varies a bit by the amount of tranny/shaft center bearing mount wear and sag... Why is this even an issue? (Sorry, I don't even own a protractor...) Anyone?
I'd say the angle is so slight that it wouldn't cause too much of an issue. Infact, the carrier bearing to the diff is where the real up and down is at.
Hmm, maybe around 5º or less from the tranny to the carrier bearing?

Sorry guys, I should have been more specific. I am installing a turbo 2 trans. in my truck and sits up a little higher than the stock trans. To fix the problem I'm lowering the trans. cross member. I want to make sure that the angle is within a couple of degrees of the original.Of course I never checked the angle before I took it out.
