turns funny
My repu turns funny to the left, it almost feels like you can turn it more then you can to the right. You also hear a clunk when you go to the left. Anyone have any ideas what might be making this happen. I plan on jacking it up and taking a look at to later today. Any ideas what to look for would be great.
Thank you
:)

RE: Turns Funny to the left
Just as a guess have a look at the idler arm assembly over on the right side frame rail, it may be worn out.

has it been aligned lately?
sounds like pulling to the left, not enough tie rod extension on the left.
there are also adjusters on the lower knuckle to prevent wheel from turning too far. sounds like it's doing it's job and bumping the a-arm.

Could be a clearance issue?
If not linkage/header clearance, sometimes clunking noises come from loose stuff elsewhere under the hood, like a relay dangling by the wires and swinging onto the wheelhouse... Or, it's your worn suspension/ball joints letting you know their age... (I've encountered both issues...) Try lubing the living daylights outta all grease points, and check that align! Then there's always the potential wheel bearing...
