Ignition timming

1. I was wondering what would be a good setting for ignition timming to pass emmissions? I Frankensteined the exhaust...Removed header and installed cat. All I have left to do is set timming.

2. After passing emmissions I'm going to rewire the dizzy for direct ignition. Does anyone think it's worth the effort to go with dual leading AND dual trailing direct fire ignition....4 coils and 4 ignitors?
Thanks, Sparky

i'd set the timing to stock or mabye retard it a few degrees.

direct fire leadings are worth the money. car starts better and makes mor epower at low and midrange. can you do direct fire on the trailing? paul yaw's site said no. might spark apex seals and zappo!

good luck,
