Hello All,
Does anyone know if the factory throttle cable is avaliable? Or is there one from another year that will work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Throttle cable

Throttle cable only? or housing too?

The housing is unavailable.

if the housing is good then . ..

pep boys, auto zone, o'reillys etc . . . have a cable made by Spectre. About $24

Use the Cable only and just slide your original throttle fork (do not use the one it came with) over the cable that hooks to the pedal and then cut length to fit. Kit has some linkage pieces to make fit and adjustment easy

The cable looks like this . . .

Thanks for the info. My housing is OK so I'll go out tomorrow and look for the kit.
Once again, thanks!

No problem . .

The toughest part you will run into is cutting the cable to length. It is very strong! I suggest you slide on any linkeage or whatever you might need on to the cable first before cutting.
If you cut first and fray the end it becomes real difficult to work with.

Use a real good/brand new pair of nippers or wire cutters.
When cutting, if it doesnt snap and cut clean immediately then the ends are getting frayed and or the nippers arent strong enough. The cable in the kit is real long . . do a test cut.

Good Luck
