It is but I wanted to check the size of the port. A water seal let go in the rear rotorhousing and the oil pressure was low so I took it apart. It's 95% cleaned up now and a new RB streetport template arrived yesterday.
The 3b plates have small intake runners which will ultimately limit intake volume, but they do wonders for velocity. So I'll work with that. Pictures of it here: http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=873219
Thinking of using new: 89 rotors, Rx8 eshaft, Rx8 stationary gears since the 8 parts cost a fraction of anything else, and the gears already have the best bearings and are hardened.
Have some new gsl-se rotorhousings that'll get streetported by not me.
FWIW Harbor Freight 20 gallon parts washer + HOT water + Industrial Strenght Purple Cleaner works magic when cleaning engines. Oh, and my rotors didn't have much carbon on them. Seafoam in the tank and AMSOIL PowerFoam down the carb on a regular basis is the key.
