Slave cylinder
I thing I am needing to replace my slave cylinder. Does anyone know what size the bore hole is? I see these at Autozone for $36 and Napa has them for $16 and Mazdatrix has them for $120. I just want to make sure I get the right one. Any tricks to this or advice?
thanks

You may find...
...that most everyone has the later (rx7) version for sale, featuring fine threads... as opposed to the 'correct', oldschool coarse-threaded version you might want or need, to be able to simply "plug and play".

So, if you get a RX7 slave, is the RX7 hose about the same length as the REPU, just with different threads? If so, I would think you could cut the hard line and reflare it with the correct fitting?

Slave cylinder
Yes I agree, Most everything is for the RX7 and fine thread.
so it is either hunt down a coarse thread or adapt with some fittings to make it work.

slave cylinder
Those are the RX7 slave cylinders. I actually went to the neighbor who makes braided lines etc .... I am having him make me a line from the slave cylinder to the master cylinder in one piece. As it is the lines that are stock is looong. It goes under the brake booster and back up and around. I figure to shorten the line distance(always good with hydralics)and make it one piece instead of running the short piece to the line adapter from the soft line to the hard line. The master cylinder I got was a little different than stock also. The port hole for the line is on an angle to the otherside versus the stock one. Which actually made it easier to install the one line and have a good path to the slave.
