Replacment Throttle Cable
What can I say... the list of needed parts just keeps growing. I have looked all over for a replacment throttle cable and I jusy can't seem to find one. Does any one know where to find a new one? or do i have to locate a used one?

Throttle Cable
Don't throw any of the old stuff away. If the housing is good, you can re-build the cable.(including the carbureter end)If the housing is bad, further repair would be difficult, but not impossible. Try a speedometer shop, they can usually whip up cables for you.

Have you tried:
Contacting a friendly, (helpful) Mazda parts manager, and having him/her do a "VIN-specific" (bring your VIN #!) search to Japan for any NOS availability?
It's been beneficial/fruitful for me in the past, for certain bits...
You might also want to explore just how identical (or not?) the rx-4, (Cosmo?) versions were, and how (un)available (?) those are...
Have you tried searching Ebaymotors repeatedly, regularly, and over an extended period of time?
Do let us know how it goes!
