Unknown, however...:
...you may want to research/look for "first generation" KIA (yes, you're reading correctly...) ones, (whatever they called that midget 4x4).
Once upon a time, I was informed that they (Rio?) used the same ignition switch --only the key would be 'wrong', of course-- if this rumor proves correct...
(Is that the same as the Geo 'tracker'???)
Anyhow, it was all about the first run, 'back when'; something to do with how the early KIA's used to come off the same line as some Mazda's...(?!?)

Worth remembering...:
Caig/Cramoline (or similar) 'De-OX-It' type electronics contact cleaner (in the teensy spray can) can be your best friend when working on aged connections. Just a wee tiny dab can make all the difference... Available through electronics repair specialty supply places--.
Remember to clean all ground connects down to bare metal, too!
