When it rains....Ebrake cable

Shoulda left the damn rear brakes alone...............

Finally, new calipers and pads ready to go, also new brake line. All assembled, hub would not go on. Seems ebrake cable on drivers side is FROZEN. Worked with PB, etc, no luck. Also noticed that end of cable that connects to the pad is cracked, ready to snap.
Klaus, I guess I'll start with a new part number and see if that's possible, otherwise I guess I'll go a junkin'.
All suggestions welcome, of course!

Ford Courier

Mike, Look at Ford Courier parts, they should be the same for years 73-76 for e-brake cable. If you can't find one I'll try to get out to the parts truck and see if the cables are any good. Sorry I haven't been much help lately, just trying to get all my crap ready for the dragon. Charles

I need one, too...

(...just a different part: the section that goes up to the lever/handle...)

I need: 1845 44 150 Cable, front

You need: 1845 44 410 Cable, (R) rear
1845 44 420 Cable, (L) rear

...nevermind the assorted small springs, pins, rings, spacers, boots, etc., etc., etc. ...

I lucked up. My local dealership found the cable I needed at another dealer in Pennsylvania. I called, they found it, but the price had dropped off the system. He says 'how 'bout $20 plus ship? Duh, on it's way.
BTW. Klaus, I asked him about the one you needed as well, no luck there. Sorry.

No prob, dude. heck, I would not have the one I found coming without the part number, that was critical.
You know about this site, fordcouriercollector.com, it seems to be a good source of parts.

You gotta work your way up to asking for stuff, though. If you just sign up and beg for parts....they...don't like that.
Seems like a nice group of folks, however!
