Are you disassembling it as well? Or did you pull it just to clean things up?
If taking it apart I clean just about everything in a blast cabinet, then clean really well with simple green then water, to make sure all the blast media is out of any passage ways in the engine.
If you are not taking it apart make sure to plug any holes (intake, exhaust, etc) and I like the Foamy Engine Brite. Let that do its work then hose down and get whatever is left with a brush and simple green.

thanks for the tips on cleaning my motor and to answer your question. I am currently just cleaning things up on the engine and getting busy with sanding down my frame but I do have a 13b that needs taking apart because it use to blow white smoke but ran perfect any suggestions on that thanks again.

Castrol 'Super Clean'...
...and a brush may be helpful for the really greasy bits.
Your white smoke blowing motor has likely 'lost' a water o-ring seal, usually the rear rotor one, and most commonly due to overheating... which will likely mean your rotor housing(s) are shot, having been 'crushed' beyond spec between the steels during said overheating.
Hope I'm wrong!
