Sparkplugs?
My new 74 REPU has the engine pretty much all stock, so I'm curious as to whic spark plugs are best. I've has several RX-7's and know the NGK's to use for those, are those BUREQ7's and 9's ok for the truck? It had two different type of champions it it, they had two electrodes.

If you have the old points-type distributor you need plugs with a .025 to .050 gap, while electronic ignition uses a gap of .050 to .060, which is the factory gap for BR7EQxx plugs. As I recollect, my 74, which still has the old points sytem (I promise to upgrade this summer - I have the parts!), has something like "BR4" plugs installed. (Maybe that "E" means 'electronic').
All these multi-electrode plugs are perma-gapped, so it's important.
Beware of plugs that are too long: they can clip the apex seals and blow your engine.

Oops! Sorry about the typo: that's .025 to .030 for points and .050 to .060 for electronic. I can attest that the wide-gap plugs don't work good in the points system!

You're looking to run...
...the old '4-sidewire' plugs, ideally... I seem to recall designations such as BR 8EQ 14 ...
For your application, the four sidewrires beat the three or two-sidewire models --like the 'ET' series-- , because so much depends on the final position of the plug in the combustion zone.
