Grabbing my clutch

I'm looking for any advice about curing a grabbing clutch problem. I currently have the clutch and tranny out of the Repu, and don't really see anything wrong.
The Flywheel has just been resurfaced; the clutch disc is a rebuilt stock with new linings, and the pressure plate is new oem.
It acted as if it wasn't releasing fully, and I damaged a synchro. Just yesterday, I came across a clutch rebuilder who said that Mazda and Ford PU's have a bug where a little air gets trapped in the clutch master cyl. causing this problem.
Has anyone else seen this?
TIA, Jim

My friend's REPU does this. Mine never has as far as I know. I've got a new from the dealer master cylinder ($!) and rebuilt my slave.
