My B1600
hey ya all.
i was recenttly on her eenquiring for parts to complete my B1600.
For all those that replied and helped. Thanks again.
Here is my 75 with a 13B and Semi auto TQX 5 speed conversion.
I sourced it from the original owner via a guy who bought it and sold it straight away.
It was owned by an Old Gent who passed away in 1998.
His wife took it to town religiously every year for a registration inspection and kept it registered and in a shed.
When I saw her it was love at first sight.
After inspecting it I had to have it.
Its the perfect start for a resto as it is amazing condition for an Australian pick up/Ute of this vintage.

That's great man, did you do the 13B swap or was that done already when you bought it?

I did the conversion.
The 1600 was pretty tired.

Look at all that room in the front air dam, you can see the ground haha. Why did you go with the bee-hive oil cooler? Are there any benefits?

I tried hard to get an original cooler and radiator with shroud from the states. These are the only things that would have bolted in.going custom was not an option.
it was much more easier to fit the gen 1 cooler.
