I'm sure you'd find takers...

...elsewhere, like on Ebay Motors! You should save all that's there, if at all possible. Certainly snag all you possibly can!!! Where are you located? I'd also suggest posting this in the 'pickup bed' section...

Say, you could even replace the rearend, and have a cool rx-4 wagon...

Is it a '74? That year had a cooler looking frontend, and lighter bumpers. Is it a 5-speed ribcase (original) trans. ???

Save it! Save it! Save it!!!!

RX4 Wagon

The engine and tranny(4sp)are the same, the oil cooler the same, radiator, nearly the same. Steering wheel the same except the horn thumb buttons, ashtray the same, wiper headlight, turnsignal switch nearly the same (internal differences, can be modified), brake booster the same, emmisions relays the same, control box the same. Yes,lots of stuff that can be used on a truck that should not get the "crush" At least 500 quatloos just for grins

If you cannot get the whole wagon out...

...I'd suggest trying to work a deal with the yard to let you strip it as completely as possible, and take everything you can remove for a 'bulk' deal. That includes all exterior removable body panels, lenses, bumpers, etc. ! Every part you cannot use on a REPU still has value to someone with an rx-4 .

Besides, they're not exactly common/high demand at the yard... so you ought to be able to talk 'em into giving you a good deal. One would hope.

I wish I'd never let go of either rx-4 wagon I ever owned...

Where is this wagon? Cali? If it's anywhere near me (Michigan), I'll go buy the whole thing and drag it home...
