update on my REPU
i thought i crushed another thrust bearing so i pulled the motor apart again... turned out i did crush one, but when i got the whole thing out i saw something funny... i still couldn't turn the E shaft... the front stationary gear bearing was all messed up on the outside, probly from the first crushed bearing... so i pulled the motor(it took me 15 minutes! lol) started to try to pull it apart... it wouldn't budge... had to use a pulley puller thinger to pull the front stationary gear out, and the bearing didn't come with it... so the bearing is stuck to the E shaft and the front stationary gear is pretty much worthless... the bearing was chewed up a bit, and the stationary as well... i can only imagine what happened to the E shaft... going to atkins monday afternoon as long as i can get off work... on a better note i might have my 84 GSL on the road tonight thanks to dan(atkins) selling me his catalytic converter replacement pipe he used to have on his FB before he supercharged it
