REPU Tent
Well done Martin, your site is fast becoming the place to go for useful tips.
Pictures may not really be worth a thousand words, but they give an insite to the words your reading that otherwise might escape you.
Every little bit helps in REPU land.

Way to recycle!
Nice score, getting all of that for free, not to mention keeping it out of the landfill! I like your quonset-hut roofline, too--good for shedding water...
(I know all about tarps, booths, and tents from my years vending at fairs and festivals... as long as it's wind-proof and doesn't collect water anywhere, you're doing great!)
Just keep that tarp taut!

Not bad! By the way, do both of your horns work? I've had the worst luck with stock Mazda horns.

How Long
Hey Martin, Nice! How long are those pieces of pvc. Looks like at least 20ft. I've got some 10 ft lenths out back but never thought about building something like that. Great idea. Keep up the good work its very inspiring to the rest of us in the cold north.

Wow, thanks guys.
Ovquick, I'm glad you're finding something useful on my site. I have so little time to do any proper writeups right now (though I will in time) I was hoping that at least some pics might be useful to others.
Klaus, I though about other designs but this one made the most sense to me. This way I didn't need to cut and join pieces. They're all joined with electrical wire tie-wraps. This lets me change or adjust things without losing any material. And it does shed some water.
I don't know if my horns work or not Jeff20B, but if they do and you're interested in them just drop me a line (rotormunky@themonkeyhouse.org) cause I won't be using them myself. I can test them next time I work on the truck if you want me to.
I feel pretty lucky to be able to work almost year round. Otherwise I might NEVER get anything done. Those are 20ft lengths. There were 20 or 30 of them in the dumpster. I still have a handful left. When I was considering designs I thought I'd to a peaked roof and straight sides. That would let you use 10ft lengths but require cutting and joining. I think you could BUY everything to make one for under $50, tarp included but I admit I haven't priced it since I lucked out with my dumpster find. I really like the rounded top tho. I can hang off that thing BTW. I only weigh 130lbs but still :)
Thanks for all the encouraging comments guys.
