Whats your profession

I was reading a post from Scalliwag (insert your name here Mr.Scalliwag) and just wondering what it was that you rotormonkey, and Klaus( seeing how it seems that we are the only ones who bother posting here regularly) all do for a living?

I am 29.
I have been restoring antiques and oil paintings for the last ten years. I am opening up my own company "Restoration Workshop" in February. My father owned an auto shop for 15 years while i was gowing up. He does antiques with me now.Although he still has his 74 CB 7504 Honda and his 78 GMC sierra 15
So you see the reason why I like fixing up cars/trucks.

Whats your excuse? :)

Hmm....107 posts, in 28 days...Maybe some of us are waiting for the wind to die down so we can get back to posts with some meaning and thought.

Sorry, but I had to say it..

I apologize that I didnt know you where the official spokesman or I would have addresed you as such.
Dear Mr. Spokesman,

I guess this is what you came up with as a response

I agree that you talk alot, and also that some of what you have to say has meaning.
Yes, this is a public forum and as such, you have every right to say what you want, when you want.

I am not the official spokesman or even the unofficial spokesman. I too was exercising my rights to speech on the public forum.

If you are bored, please, just search through the archives. There are tons of past posts that cover virtually everything you have asked over the past 28 days. I mentioned in an earlier post a suggestion to do a search because it could answer many of your questions. As a "moderator" on another forum, I'm sure you understand that it is a bit frustrating for tenured members to have to constantly go back and bring the newer members up to speed when a bit of time studying the archives can better familiarize one with the vehicle, the parts situation, compatibility, and rebuilding and repair. Most of the members of this forum are here and willing to help others with information and parts. We have all been new here and I am not too senior in my own right, but pissing people off, insulting them, and belittling them for not "posting regularly" is not exactly the way to "win friends and influence people".

I suspect you are a man with many talents, and probably quite capable as witnessed on the work you did on your seven. I do not expect you to "leave the forum", but if I spend time reading the forum, and all each post is is mindless chatter, I will leave. You are free to stay.

I am sorry for being frank, I have no ill will towards you, but I enjoy this forum and I do not like the direction we've been on this past month.

That is my opinion on the "public forum".
