oil

I know this aint a rotary. but theres been many questions with me and another frnd who also owns a B2000 on what kinda oil to use....hes heard to put in regular 5;30....but i think 10;30 would be best....bcus his smokes like a banshee....does ne one know why all mazdas like mine smoke at a certain age.....i think thicker oil...i could be wrong

thicker oil reduces oil burning. it's more difficult for thick oil to squeeze thru the oil control rings in the rotor (rotary) or oil rings (piston).

The NO SMOKE additive u see for sale at the auto parts store is real thick oil, thick as honey. And does help but there's other tricks too like the brake fluid trick ;)

I use 15/50 Mobil 1 in all my vehicles rotary or piston year round in the warm southern california climate down here.

brake fluid trick?

i dont think ive ever heard of the brake fluid trick. explain that to me?.my friend has a b22000 he just put in some 10;30. and no smoke.....still smokes though?.....
