I have.....about....uhhh....

Seven if you count all of them including my parts buggy.

two running, two in work geting new powerplants, and two with possibilities if I run out of work on the other four. One is clearly sacrificial.

Just an educated guess, since I don`t work for the DMV in all 52 states I`m not excactly sure, but I have one, a buddy in santa rosa, ca. with two, another associate in san jose with a runner and a parts truck and a another buddy mike (aka, mrmazda) just bought one off the forum in san martin. And Gary, rtrypwry has 2? But of course california has a lot more hidden treasures that won`t crawl out of the woodwork.

I now have 1 '77, used to have a '75 that was totalled, but now its just parts. Sold a '74 to a local mechanic.

Is there a way we can save a spreadsheet or database on this site? We could enter our VIN's and keep better track of the remaining trucks. This question has come up before. Maybe just save the year, VIN, city/state and running or not. Would be a great information resource.

Best Guess?

I see from the Rotary News article that Mazda made 15000 Repu's.My Guess is less than 1000 are left.Less than half of that are road worthy? I like the idea of a database. Maybe year, vin, color original(int/ext),engine(original or modified ),trans.,AC?,road worthy, and local,
If you would like to start a database send me this info at WVoigt@aol.com
Who has the first Repu?
Who has the Last?

I am going to start work on a registry, don't know if I spelled that word right.
I want to have it set up for all the older mazdas, everything below the Rx7. I plan to use php to make this setup happen. Might take me a little bit of time to get it all 100% working and bug free, but it would be worth it.

:)

Registry

If you know PHP(3 or 4) and mysql, feel free to create a few database tables, and some php code. I can make a section on this site for the repu registry.

Maybe a database with:
* VIN#
Year
Color
Model
Trans.
KM/Miles
Owner Name
Mazdarepu forum handle
City
State
Country
Notes

and a simple entry form, lookup form, and admin peice.
