Center grille emblem reproduction

I just e-mailed the guys at emblemagic.com about doing reproduction grille emblems for repu`s. They need an intact emblem for the mould, I have two extras one should be good enough for their needs. It looks like they do mostly old domestic, but they also do boats and aircraft, why not the repu? I`m asking everyone that reads this to e-mail them at
service@emblemagic.com to see if they can help us with our
trucks. viva la repu!!

that sucks!!! I would have definately been in for one.

I've been contemplating my emblem for some time. I have 2 that are in so-so condition. mostly the problem is with the amber insert. 1 is cracked and pieces missing, the other has weathered, whitened, and blackened.

my best plan so far was to remove all the amber material from the emblem. Sand and fill any small pocks on outer surface of emblem. Have it rechromed. Fill the center with liquid amber turn signal repair epoxy.

how does that sound?

I'm sorry, I have little to offer for Plastic...

Perhaps Wankelguy can help you out? He's gotten some amazing results with his own plastic restoration techniques; made dashboards, etc look as new...something to do with a model-building background coupled with painstaking attention to detail...
