That is quite funny because we know how much these trucks are worth!

Think about it: back when our trucks were new, they were the first to have disc brakes in front, a wider stance, could haul 1400LBS, not the measily 1000lbs (of a half ton), more usable bed space (between the wider fender wells) nicer interior. The list goes on.

Value of your REPU

I think the value is in what the buyer wants from a truck. If you want a mid-seventies Chevy Pick Up a Rotary Truck may not be worth $100 to you. On the other hand I don't give a damn about an old Chevy Truck and you'd be hard pressed to get more than a couple hundred bucks from me for it.
Blue book value is what the insurance companies abide by. I bet a 70' Daytona Charger isn't worth much if you go by BlueBook. Tell that to a collector though and he'll show you a bunch of winged cars with pointed noses that probably sell for as much as 100X what the BlueBook value is.
What is having a nice truck worth to you? How much extra would you pay for one if it has clean floorboards? Does all the Emission Equiptment mean that its never been tampered with? Whats that worth to you? If you look at it from that perspective they only go up in value.
I know what it would take to get my 77 REPU from me. And believe me it's waaaaaay more than BlueBook.
