When taking the harness off the inner fender what did you guys do for replacing the clips after paint?

I used the releasable zipties on ebay, the ones i got aper to be seconds but thay do the job i cut them off short with a point so they could be start again and they seem to fit into the stock holes just fine. You might be able to see them in my carb to tbi convertion thread in the engine section.
