REPU Center Cap ?

I need to install the center caps on my 77' REPU but I don't understand how they are held into place. Could some one give me a hint on how they mount on the rims?

Thanks,
JD

I forget the exact way the fronts are held in, but I believe it is a rubber band type of setup that wraps wround the front hub assembly, and the cap pushes on to it for some friction to hold it in place. The rear is held on the same way, but with a round hub that bolts on to the rear drum with two screws. That round hub has the rubber band looking thing on it for the centre cap to attach with. I have some centre caps at home if you can wait a little while I will get pics of them when I get off the island this afternoon.
