I'm pretty sure I'll be there with either my REPU or FC. Everything else is still sitting with blown motors.

I won't be able to sign up until next month though. Hopefully it won't be filled up by then.

What car you taking brad? FB or REPU?

Hi Paul, thought about this on my afternoon walk today. Heat will be the biggest concern as it'll be one of the hottest days of the year in the High Desert. From my years of doing track days I recommend:

- Getting that aluminum radiator
- Use straight water and Purple Ice
- Valvoline VR1 50 weight oil
- Motul brake fluid
- quality gear oils
- duct air to the brake rotors and intercooler if possible
- seal up the nose of the truck so all air entering thru grille and valance must go through the radiator or oil cooler. Use closed cell foam or self expanding foam.
- repack and tighten wheel bearings
- Hawk HP Plus or HPS or Porterfield R4S. Or Hawk Blues and a new set of rotors...and a spare set of rotors
- I have a huge oil filter you can have (Napa 1182) just let me know.
- Have lots of fun. Short shift entering turn 6 fixes the car getting light and wheelspin problem there.

August 24th is only 12 days away. Who is going? I think we could meet up in IE then again around the 5 / 14 interchange and buzz up there.

https://www.facebook.com/Mazfest

Sparky, Tim, Paul, Max, Al, Adam and everyone else can you make it to MazFest?

I can bring my canopy, chairs and cooler again.

Later,
Brad

Hi Brad,

Not sure if I will be able to make it this year. Truck is somewhat torn apart due to a very stubborn lean surge. I believe I have found the issue in a bad ground but time will tell. It has been very intermittent in nature. If I get it running fine, I will probably go up, but not run on the track. :(

Hi Paul if you can make it let me know we can meet in Elsinore and drive up. Hope to see you there.

I don't see any info at all on the autocross, looks like a non starter. But we can still do ridealongs on the big track, it's worth it.

Hey Al yeah I want to put together a cruise to the beach while its HOT out here. Hmm.. Next weekend may be a good time as it's a 3 day weekend. [b
Can you or anyone do a cruise on 9/1 or 9/2?

Sparky no worries I'll take so me pics. I think it'll be a lower turnout than last year since it's not SevenStock.

Yeah Brad, the beach sounds good! I'm down for it! So far, those days are open for me. Leaning towards Sunday the 1st. Hopefully, the rest of the guys are up for it.
