Gas tank
Does anyone sell gas tanks that fit these trucks? Do Courier tanks fit? What do you all suggest for fuel line? Do these use an pump and regulator set up or what? Thanks for any help. Hope to get mine on the road soon.

I've never seen a new or reproduction gas tank for sale for REPU. Courier tank is smaller but I would guess could be made to fit since the trucks are so similar.
I made my own fuel line out of some aluminum tubing and hand bender I got from summit racing dot com.
I always use a regulator and pressure gauge on a carb.

Cool. The tank I have now has plenty of life left in it. We already have a hand bender. So you eliminate all rubber line or just replace the lines on the frame rail?
I'm considering pulling the bed. Do you hot tank your gas tanks?

I replaced all my rubber lines, I wouldn't hardline anything from the tank to the frame. You don't have to remove the bed but it makes it immensely easier to get to the hose clamps on the top of the tank. I did have mine hot tanked and re-sealed. The home reseal kits don't always work and it's just easier to take it to a shop especially cause I can't boil mine. They can also cut it open if needed to fix any plugged hardlines.

Ok thanks for the info. I'm assuming this would be the time to also have the tank baffled?

I took my repu tank to a local Radiator shop and they hot tanked it,cleaned and resealed it back to like new. Also re welded my pickup tube. Cost roughly $175. It wasn't hard to remove/install with the Bed on ime.

The tank is already baffled they work great. It's a good tank.
Definitely have it hot tanked and resealed if it hasn't been done to your knowledge. The factory sealant comes apart, I used to plug fuel filters with that crud all the time until i got the tank done.
