Need door jabs' seals...

Thanks for all the great leads on the radiator issue guys but now need another item sourced! I need both doors' jab rubber seals. Checked JC Whitney and they have lots of different style and shapes but which one do I choose? Anyone here purchased door seals from them? If so, which one is best for our Repu OR are there any other companies you guys would recommend?

Any help would truly appreciated!

Thank You!

Tim

Tim,

Order up factory door seals for a 1984 B2000/B2200 truck. They are a little bit larger, but work well, and as a bonus they are a pinch-welt design, so they 'grab' the body seam rather than having to be glued around it. It will be hard to close your doors all the way for about a week or so after you install the new seals, but I found that a relief... I knew nothing was getting past them!

Hi Neal,

Do you have a part number? From the diagrams at onlinemazdaparts.com it's hard to tell what's what.

Thanks!

Door Seals...

These are out of the 1982-'83 B2000 & B2200 Parts Catalog, pretty certain they are the same for 1984... I'll try to find my microfiche later if I get a break from work.

Those are the only Mazda part #'s. The passenger side was available last time I checked. Drivers is NLA.

There's a guy on ebay in Thailand selling copies of these seals. I ordered a set and will see if they fit. They'll arrive late this month.

The Ford Ranger jamb seals from 98-Present have apparently been working on Couriers. I have not yet tried it, but am hoping to make it to a bone yard soon to try it out.

I have new jamb seals and window felt(4 pieces for both windows). These are non mazda parts but work perfectly. I'll sell it all for $100.00 shipped.

They are installed. They fit. Ran it thru the carwash with no leaks. The Mazda B2000 seals have more molded bends in them, these are more round really. But they do have the extra material in the top rear corner like the Mazda ones, and a nice 90* molded bend there too.

Went for a drive Sunday and didn't have any wind noise.

Shipping took forever but they did get here in the timeframe promised. They did have them labeled backwards though, R is really L and vice versa.

I'd recommend them.
