Rotary in an 87 B2000

Ladies and Gentlemen
Please dont shoot me, Im trying to find people who have done the swap. I've ran into a few from time to time that have swapped rear ends and some that say they have swapped motors. Im looking for any information on swapping a 2nd Gen Turbo II motor into an 87 B2000. If anyone knows someone or can get me in contact with someone familiar with this I would be in heaven! I have the donor car and the truck sitting here, just waiting on a lil more info to start cracking the whip on this swap.

What specifically are you seeking? I have built, rebuilt, torn apart, dismantled, welded, wired, painted, sanded, more 2nd gens than I am old. You need to be specific so those of us that have that info can help you.

I have no helpful info for you, other than some pics of an '86 B2000 with a '74-'85 13B in it (front cover mount style). It;s not mine and I didn't do the conversion. I hope this can help, if only a little. http://www.geocities.com/cd23c/cars.html#b2000

Im looking for information similar to what jeff20b sent me. Links to people who have done the swaps. Or first hand knowledge of the swap. Heres why: I've been told the motor mounts will work all I need is longer hardware to bolt the 13b into the B2000, I've also been told the spindles from the RX7 are a direct bolt on ( I have no clue if they are or not). I've got pictures of a rear end swap that I can use for the basis of mine.
Basically I want a mazda mini truck with some power and handling because I love mazda's this is my third B series mini, Im just tired of searching for anything to make the tired Bseries motors stronger. So, I bought an 87 Turbo II donor car and Im waiting patiently to find someone that may be able to give me pointers and or a lil coaching on do's and dont's of this swap.

Thanks for your help

Mounts

Ok,
The hardest part of the swap would be the engine mounts. I don't know first hand, but I think you may need the front cover from a early rotary (any early rotary with engine mounts on the front)

Other things to consider:

Computer -- I used a Haltech.

Fuel -- Get a monster fuel pump

gauges -- should be simple enough to hook the stock B2000 tach up to the ignition of the rotary, water and oil temp/pres should be the same too.

Cooling -- Re-rod and core your radiator, or get a larger one made

Oil Cooling -- consider getting a dual oiler cooler setup ala FD3s RX-7's

A local rotary shop built that truck. Like I said I don't really have any info about it, other than those pics.

I saw a video of that truck doing burnouts. actually i've seen quite a few rotary vehicles doing burnouts infront of that shop. I'd hate to be one of the neighbors.

Whiz needs to get:

1. His Chevy running
2. His TII running
3. Sell the Rustang
4. Remove the pink stripe from the Eclipse
5. Then he can do a NEWPU
