SoCal REPU breakfast meet & cruise

How'z it fellas!? It's been awhile since our last meet.
So, Tim and I want to invite all SoCal/MazdaREPU members to a breakfast meet & cruise tentatively scheduled for Sunday March 20th (First day of Spring and the month of DST, which means beautiful weather and lots of daylight!) See what your schedule is like and lock-in that date. We want all members to be able to attend.

Breakfast meet point/location:

Hidden Valley Golf Club
10 Clubhouse Drive
Norco, California 92860

No, we're not gonna be golfing (nothing against it). It's just a beautiful scenic spot and a delicious breakfast joint!

Meeting time is yet to be arranged.

Tim will post more info. and details on the cruise route once he gets his computer back from repair.

So, we hope all of you can make it. It'll be loads of fun!

Thanks Al,
We have a fun ride planned with a ride around rural Riverside and Lake Mathews areas with a great breakfast at the Hidden Valley Golf club and a rest spot with a great bakery and coffee stop.
We will first meet in Corona at the 91 Fwy.and the McKinley exit North at the Mimis restaurant parking lot. Here is a map. I hope copy and paste works here.
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=to:2230 GRIFFIN WAY, CORONA&z=12
This may show much of the roads around Lake Mathews we will take after we ride together to breakfast at the golf club about 3 miles away.

We will meet at Mimis and drive in together.
Gas is close by Mobil, Costco and 76 and Shell on the other side of the FWY.
RPZT:
Meeting time is yet to be arranged.
Tim:
How does 9:15 AM sound at Mimis, then leave for breakfast at 9:30 sharp?

RPZT:
Tim will post more info. and details on the cruise route once he gets his computer back from repair.
Tim
I plan to have a map printed for all. We have very few signals on the route and I will not loose anybody.
RPZT:
So, we hope all of you can make it. It'll be loads of fun!
Tim
We will end the ride very close to where we began ,figure 50 or so miles on the ride. more later.

contact request

Howard Singer asked me to post this for him:

He wants to attend the get together on Saturday.
=======================================================
Please be so kind to create a posting to those guys on my behalf, asking one of those individuals to call me, which would be much more preferable than an email. Also, if you would also include my email address, I would be most appreciative.

Also, please include both of my phone numbers, which appears under my signature.

Thanks, Bruce.

We have a fun ride planned with a ride around rural Riverside and the Lake Mathews areas with a great breakfast at the Hidden Valley Golf club and a break after approximately 1 hour at a great bakery with premium coffee. It's all about the fun with our trucks after all.

We will meet in Corona at the 91 Fwy. and the McKinley exit at Mimi's. (From Orange County traveling east on the 91 thru Corona, McKinley is your first exit after you clear the I-15 interchange in Corona ,so just cross under the FWY. to Mimi's on the right) note, watch for cars exiting in your lane when you pull into Mimis. If coming from the 60 fwy heading west as to beach cities on the 91, exit at Mckinley North and turn in right away at the Mimi's restaurant parking lot.
Do a map quest to the address previous post.

Any questions email me right away please.

Gas is close by. Shell Mobil and Costco. I will post a price check on Friday the 18th.

Meeting time is 9:15 AM at Mimi's, then leave for breakfast at 9:30 sharp. We will drive right past the end/finish as we start out after breakfast.

I have maps printed and although we will be" on our own" so to speak, no one will get lost.

I would like to know who's planning on attending and who would like to ride with someone else in their REPU if room, so let's start a List.

I WILL BE THERE.....

1. Tim, leading and I have room for one passenger.

TRUCKS BEING REBUILT, my Dog ate the keys but I WANT TO RIDE WITH SOMEONE.
This should work out fine as long as we have room, you can park at the finish as we leave after breakfast OK?

Tim.
Figure 50 or so miles on the ride. I have planned for the SAN DIEGO group and have planned a stop close to the I-215 in Perris and the 74 for all of you. OKAY? The rest of us will end up very close to the start. Keep that in mind if you have a passenger with you as it's a long walk.

NEW DATE SCHEDULED

quote:

So, Tim and I want to invite all SoCal/MazdaREPU members to a breakfast meet & cruise tentatively scheduled for Sunday March 20th (First day of Spring and the month of DST, which means beautiful weather and lots of daylight!) See what your schedule is like and lock-in that date. We want all members to be able to attend.

Breakfast meet point/location:

I'm going to reschedule the date to Sunday APRIL 3,2011.
Extended weather forcast didn't look too promising

I have done a little fine tuning on the route and look forward to a real fun time.
