AWESOME!!!!

Sorry to hear that Paul . . Hope everyone is healthy soon. Hope to see you there next time for sure.

Great Showing . . . Even a couple rx2 and rx3's and Mr. Wackyracer from rx7 club blessed us with his pressence. Some of the NICEST rx2's and rx3's around that I have seen... . . Incredible!
Great Repu showing as well . . . .
Several trucks and even Repu owners that didnt have their trucks available showed up . . (Brad,Sparky,TIMPA136)
Thanks
Brad . . . rebuilding motor
TIMPA136 . . . Installing new exhaust. . (beautiful RX8)
Sparky . . . Truck in a custom paint shop
Repumax . . . Beautiful as always!!!!!!!!!!!
Repuzentn . . Daily driver loyalist
Xp882 . . . . Seats fit perfect! Lets paint it!
Albert . . . Screaming bridgeport

I think there was 11 vehicles in all. It was nice to hear all them "Brab brab" engines.
Even several looky loos showed up from the newspaper add. I think Albert was kind enough to give them all a tour and education on the Rotary engines and Repu's . . Good job Albert.
So hopefully next time maybe . . Micah,Paulsrepu,Sparky,TIMP136,Brad,Wvoight,Davesrepu etc . . can all show up with their trucks and maybe more.

So. Cal. REPU MEET Pics.

First-off, thanks xp for posting-up the idea and getting the rotor going. Secondly, thanks Gary, for "keeping the rotor rotating" (getting the ball rolling so-to-speak)lol. Lastly, thanks to everyone who showed-up and made it happen! It was nice to see familiar faces and meet new ones.

Let's definitely keep the rotor rotating into another meet soon!

Here are the pics:

A few very good friends from the RX7club came to represent as well:
-Wacky is the carb. king tuning master period!

-Arnel, it was not only nice to see your "Super Street" magazine featured RX-3, but to hear the sound of that turbo and that phissshhh was tight!

-Brian, i'm glad to see your RX-2 up, running and driving finally. Big props to you and a job well done!

-Gary, your collection of "all-things REPU" was amazing! Now i know who to come see whenever i need anything REPU that's for sure!
-Max, we'll be 5 luging it in no time...
-Sparky, let's see your REPU all done bro!
-Xp, daily driver REPU, that's what i'm talking about! Haha...
-Albert too, i hope you keep your REPU man!
-Brad and Tim, it was cool that you guys showed-up even without your REPU's.
-Sorry for the guys that couldn't make it, but for sure again next time...

Hey Gary, The jetting helped quite a bit but I think I can get it better. Thanks to Mel (wackyracer) I have an idea of what to do now. March 14th should work for me. The only thing I have going on right now is desert season so that could possibly be a weekend we head out. I'll have to check with the groups we go out with. Thanks again for letting us hang out at your place.

Great seeing everyone

And talking REPU's. It was a great crowd. That trooper seat looks like it belongs there. Glad to see Mel and the Rx3's and deuce.

You guys inspire me to get off my lump and get moving on rebuilding my motor. Today I took the rotating assembly to be balanced so I should be able to make March 14th. With a truck.

Thanks for organizing it Gary.

Stickers/logo

How about So.Cal.REPU with a rotor in between RE and PU or So.Cal. REPU with a rotor in the background in the color Mazda blue?

No problem Max you guys are welcome anytime. Dang, sometime we will just have to set up the bar b que out in the front and have a meet there. Fill the street up with trucks. Adam can leave his truck for the 7 day make over.

Right on Brad!
I am glad to hear you are getting all over that now. Is that all you needed? Inspiration? I used to just look at a picture of Max's truck and that was enough for me. Ok well, atleast you have a date to shoot for on March 14. Will you be doing all the porting, polishing and assembly yourself? I cant wait to see it.

Sticker/logo idea . . . . . . . ?

I drew up a couple of ideas real quick. I was thinking stickers like this or so ... maybe 2 to 3 inch in size. Designed around a rotor. One is kinda of simple . . .
What do you guys think? Suggestions? Ideas?

Logo stickers

Gary, the first one is cool, but instead of having the "REPU" in the middle of the rotor, put it at the bottom. Basically, the exact picture of our REPU's grille emblem with the "So. Cal. up top and "REPU" at the bottom.

I like the second sketch.
I think the design needs:
1. A rotor in the background
2. SoCal REPU seems like a cool name
3. Rotary Engine Pick Up on there somewhere so people will know what repu stands for.

Just my .02
