Sightings

quote:
WE should start a thread on "sightings". I have seen many mazda's in many films and tv shows and have always wanted to start a list. gotta check out all those seventies films and shows...

I work late nights, and sometimes i watch "C.H.i.P.s" just to see if i can see any 1st Gen Rx7s.........

and while we're on sightings, who has watched the original "Gone in 60 Seconds". During the big car chase, they go through a '70s Mazda dealership. It is really fast. Even on slow-mo i can't distinguish between Rx2, Rx3 and their piston cousins. But maybe some of you can.

Hey, I had sighting. Or rather a homecoming... My Dads old Green 74' truck showed up in the parking lot of my buiseness yesterday.
It had been sold about 3 years ago to a guy who took it to W.Virginia, drove it a while, then sold it to a guy who eventually moved to the Metro Atl. area.
This guy came lookimg for a gas cap from me. He had no idea my Dad was the former owner. Just a referal as to my whereabouts.
I sure was glad to see it again, but I was even happier to see it leave once more. I paid my REPU dues rebuilding it from top to bottom for my perfectionist Dad. It was a good one to drive when finished though..
