REPU T-Shirt ?

Hi gang, wondering if there would be a interest for a custom designed REPU T-Shirt?

your feedback is needed....

I can design anything from your ideas - so hit me with it!

shirt design

looks like it's only you that's interested in a t-shirt..a few have viewed this, but no one seems overly interested.

I can ask a artist who can redraw cars into cartoon form if there is enough interests in this.

I think it would be hard to find out how interested anyone would be if they didnt know how it would look. I think a t-shirt in concept is a nice idea, but realistically, i dont see there being enough repu owners or fans out there to justify a run to make it worth your time and effort.

Personally, I'm a big t-shirt fan, but I'm also very particular of what's on it too. IF it was me, I would put something like a small rotor on the upper left chest with maybe some wording like "Proud REPU owner" under that. On the back I'd have a cartoonish picture of a repu peeling out... but that's just me.

I dont want to sound like a damp blanket, but that's just my 2 cents.

We have a lot of Members here...

...that don't check in very often, so it might take some time to get more of a response. Also, timing/time of year/priorities, etc., might come into play...

My idea would involve a cartoonish looking picture of Brad's truck mid corner of an auto-x on the back, and maybe a caption on the front that said maybe "Rotor's,they ain't just for cars"

My bad, sorry Klaus. I am usually pretty good about using proper grammar, but I slipped up on that one. You would think after all these years I would get it right.

No need to apologise to me!

I just can't imagine any finished product with any grammatical, spelling, or punctuation errors selling all too well...

I wouldn't buy one if it looked dumb. That's for sure.

shirt design

ahh, now we are getting somewhere..
thanks guys.

...Don't think I would bother making a dumb short tho!

I had a chat with a guy down under who can draw up a cartoon version of a REPU - all he needs is a good enough photo of one...preferably on a good angle.

I have seen a light blue drawing of a REPU on this site somewhere ?
that would be pretty good to work off to.

ps - I can also do one-off shirts ;-)
so quantity isn't a prob.

That is sweet!! Do I get a discount for the suggestion of using a pic of Brad's truck? How do I order a 2XL? Any other colors beside white?

that is so cool!

thanks for using my truck as the model. woo-hoo! i can see the supertrapp under the bumper. and thanks for suggesting my truck chris.

perhaps a little more definition in the grille, add the bedhooks, remove glare from hood, add a fender line from passenger windshield pillar to front of hood.

a little more 3d on the fender flares but dang that looks good.

No problem Brad, I hope to someday get my truck running, handling, and looking like yours. It is already the right color. Now I just need to get a fully equipped suspension,LSD,Good rubber, paint it to look better,etc..

You know just a few days worth of work!! I like the pics for the t-shirt,but I do agree with Brad,it does need a bit of tweaking to be perfect. I would buy it probably as is,but some tweaking would be better.

I like the shirt, too. What about the battery box??? A very distinguishing point.
