definately interested!!!!

Do you have a name and phone number for the junk yard? If we all got together our wants list, would you be willing to go get the parts and ship them to us for a nominal fee?

yes, i can pick some parts up for you

i have no prob going up there for anyone and pulling some parts... the junk yard is called Airport Auto Wrecking One and the number is 360-674-2576. i checked on it today adn forgot to check the year... but as for the truck the rearend is still there and the drive shaft... as for lights the back turning signals are there and the head lights also.. the interior is decent, the dash is great the seat have and arent torn yet but will probably tear first time used.. door panels are gone also. anything else either ask or give them a call they seem pretty decent on prices.

Dash

If the dash is in better condition than mine (4 BIG cracks) then I'm interested in it...

isn't the internet great? i had the junkyard tracked down even before the second reply with name and phone number.

they actually have 2 REPUs. a 73 and a 77. neither has motor, tranny, grille emblem. the 73 is pretty trashed no differantial, no hood, no radio bezel, no dash, no battery inner door....The 77 was in better shape. I'm getting the dash and radio bezel out of it. it has a hood with some surface rust and 4 dings. no battery inner door. I didn't ask about the differental as i was only interested in the 4.6 ratio. not sure about tail light lenses, might add one of them to my order.

...technically, no such thing as a '73...

...must be an early model '74. Lower valence/air intake must not be usable, either??? And those taillights--got trim rings??? If the price is right, I'd take 'em--but I haven't called yet, and you guys were all ahead of me... Front Fenders? Sending unit cover panel in bed?...

Re: ...technically, no such thing as a '73...

thats what i told the lady at the parts counter, but figured it was an early '74 model with a '73 build date. She said there are no tail lights or trim rings available. and unfortunately the dash turned out to be no good also. I'm not sure what you mean by the sending unit cover panel in bed? Are you talking about the gas tank sending unit? does yours have access through the bed? my order is on the way, so you'd have to call about that. and yes they have very reasonable prices. I got the radio bezel shipped for $20.

Yeah, it's that approx. 4" square little pop-in-place access panel that goes in the bed right over the gas tank...is that something got deleted by '77 ? Every REPU I've ever seen has it or is missing it... "Radio Bezel"-- do you mean the thingy that must've surrounded the stock radio, or the dash center section? (I don't own a stock radio either, so I'm kinda clueless...)

what i got is the part that surrounds the stock radio, heater/ventilation contols, and has the parking brake light and exhaust overheat warning. and i don't think my bed has an access panel to the gas tank. I have a sheet of plywood in the bed, but i've had it out and washed it recently and don't remember seeing it. I'll have to look. That would be really helpful cause my fuel guage hasn't been working since i refurbished the gas tank, and i was figuring i'd have to drop it again.

Gone for 77

I wish the 77 had the little bed door also. I have used it once or twice on earlier ones to jiggle the wired on the sender to make my gas gauge work. The little pieces of sprung steel used to secure it seem to break after time.

The stock AM radio has a little trim panel that goes on right before you put the knobs on.

I don't know what 77's came with as far as a radio option. I have heard that FM was an option??? Anyone able to answer that??

Yes the 1977 did have the FM radio option. Today I picked up The Hollander Foreign Car and Truck Interchange Book, which covers all foreign vehicles from 1970 thru 1984. This book is used by auto salvage yards and body shops to identify parts and to see if any other models share the same part. The Ford Courier info is also listed in the book and am looking for similiar parts. Anyone interested in useing this book, let me know. The FM radio info was from this book.
