Playing around with photos...
I was playing around with an image of a white REPU from Sevenstock, and I think I've got my final goal in mind.
Here is the orig pic, followed by my final 'goal'
...
I lowered it, blacked out the grill, tinted it, and gave it a bed cover.
If my truck was in better shape, i'd return it to stock, but that's just not possible anymore...

Why not chop the top about 3" while we're at it? It being strictly a photo, it won't be a problem that only a very short person could fit in...

It looks pretty cool. Now try to change the rims a little, heh. Other than that, since a picture speaks a thousand words, I'd say to go for it!

Black Rims
I was thinking of getting black rims, but maybe white would look OK too.. the only thing is matching the white with the white I'd paint the truck...

I like it Dan. Slam it to the ground. It will handle like it is on rails.
White will be great to keep you cool out there in the desert.

Yeah!!!
I LIKE it! But now those big mirrors, that license plate, and those oversize wpers have got to go too... then there's always the door handles & those hooks on the bed... As a matter of fact, the wheels on my white '74 driver are white! But, I like the looks of my 6-hole mags that my R-1's are on much better...

then again, there's no mirrors like no mirrors at all...
Since we seem to be headed that way: anyone ever tricked out a REPU for drag racing? At the very least, this photo edit is starting to look like that, or like a trick streetrod-a-la-dragtruck... Let's tub it, give it wheelie bars, and shave everything!
P.S.-- If we made it a convertible w./ a rollbar, even us big guys could ride in it chopped...

I saw a REPU here in Nebraska that had the top taken off. It looked totally junked and was sitting behind a house. nobody ever answered the door there (i tried). dissappeared a couple weeks later.

Shame, to cut up a classic
If anyone is just dying to cut up a truck, I just happen to have a 84 B2000 set up for rotary that I will let go cheap. You could cut, chop, lower, scrap, or whatever your heart desired. I just got to get the 12A out of it and then it'll be ready to move. I can make you a package deal if your looking for a 83 RX-7 to fix too.

Indeed!
You'd NEVER see me doing any of these mods to a REPU that was clean & bondo/rust free to begin with... but you gotta admit, it does look way cool chopped, dropped, etc., as well as convertibleized... would make a great project for one that was otherwise compromised to begin with, though repairable... not practical here in the NW, I'm afraid---but it'd be oh-so-cool to drive to Sevenstock this summer!
Just workin' on my tan...

Powered up
I think a 3 rotor would be what the doctor ordered. I gotta fish out a lead I got today about some $1200 3 rotor floating around North Atlanta somewhere. Gotta see if it's for real.
Jeff I got your light boxed up today. I hope to get it in the mail tomorrow
